The Pinot Blanc is a fresh and fruity wine that appears soft and round. It is a wine suitable for any moment. Delicious as an aperitif, with certainly enough flavor and structure to accompany all kinds of dishes with fish and shellfish. It is a mussel wine par excellence. Excellent for drinking young. Delicious with mussels.
"De Kleine Schorre" transformed from a Brussels sprouts farm into a renowned wine farm.
At the end of the nineties the agricultural sector in Zealand was a big problem area. The neighbor of potato and Brussels sprouts farmer Krijn-Jan van de Velde advised him to start a vineyard. After half a bottle of gin Krijn-Jan said: "come up with a plan". And that's what happened. On the 29th of May in the year 2001, the first vine was planted in the former Brussels sprouts field. In collaboration with the renowned Luxembourg wine company Cep d'Or there are now more than 42.000 vines and the Vineyard has grown to 10 ha and one of the largest of The Netherlands.
