The Valpolicella is an Italian red wine with the quality label Denominazione di Origine Controllata – abbreviated DOC and is produced in the province of Verona. The Valpolicella is given the designation Ripasso if the wine, before maturing in barrels, is passed through the previously pressed grape marc of the recioto or amarone so that it acquires body, taste and grade.

Powerful, aromatic red wine with generous, dark fruit of blackberries and black cherries and spices. Warm, powerful taste and aftertaste. It is recommended to open and decant the wine an hour in advance.
