Intense purple-red in color. Full aromatic nose of ripe plums and a hint of raisin. Full-bodied, balanced with firm but soft tannins and medium acidity. Firm powerhouse but deliciously sultry.

Delicious with mature hard cheeses and cured ham, as well as salami, hearty pasta dishes, stews and game. Perfect with grilled meats, or from the BBQ. Can match quite a few dishes. Widely applicable!
