Deep ruby red in color with purple reflexes. Aromas of black currants, ripe blackberries and raisins puff out of the glass. What power there is in this wine both in aroma and taste. Overwhelming ripe black fruit, black currant, cassis, currants a touch of sweet playfulness from the wood aging (vanilla, chocolate). Firm body and structure. A tough but very elegant wine.

Delicious with spicy cheeses, salami, grilled meats and stew and game dishes.
